SATURDAY: Conditions around Charlotte will be hot and muggy Saturday, as high temperatures will rebound into the low 90s with heat index values in the mid-90s. A small storm chance is possible by the afternoon, but not everyone will see rain.

REST OF THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND: As we continue through the holiday weekend there will be the threat for scattered storms for Sunday as well as the Fourth of July. It will be hot and muggy, with highs in the low 90s. Any storms that develop could contain heavy rain, frequent lightning and strong winds.
