Recently, it was revealed by Consumer Reports that the Ford C-Max, a relatively popular hybrid, doesn’t exactly measure up to its promises – specifically, in terms of fuel efficiency! Consumer Reports tested the Ford C-Max themselves, conducting a series of tests with that allowed for different driving styles and conditions. Each time, the vehicle averaged out at around 37 mpg, allowing for what Consumer Reports called the biggest discrepancy they’ve ever seen! The Ford Focus was also under the gun, not living up to its promised 47 mpg and delivering around 38 mpg instead. In addition to the Consumer Reports tests, information was pulled from the website Fuelly. Fuelly is a site that allows real world drivers to track their fuel mileage and share with others. The 2013 Toyota Prius v delivered the 42 mpg that it lists on its stickers, but once again the Ford C-Max fell short, only delivering around 38 mpg! What other advantages does the N Charlotte Toyota Prius v offer over the Ford C-Max? Finally, the 2013 Toyota Prius v in N Charlotte offers Bluetooth capabilities as a standard feature on all models, while you have to pay more for that option on the Ford C-Max!
