Toyota of N Charlotte is proud to host a wide variety of new Toyota near Charlotte, as each presents a level of innovation and dependability that’s almost unmatched. Toyota is a forerunner in terms of invention, constantly improving their products’ performance, style, technology, and versatility! We couldn’t be prouder to offer new Toyota options like the 2013 Toyota Prius near Charlotte, or the super sleek and innovative new 2013 Toyota Avalon. While we have a host of hybrid cars at our dealership, we still haven’t received any all-electric new Toyota yet – like the Toyota RAV4 EV. However, we’re eagerly awaiting their arrival, and that’s why we’re so thrilled to hear that Toyota is working on yet another piece of research – wireless charging for their electric cars!
As of yet, electric options like the new Toyota RAV4 EV near Charlotte require a cord in order to charge up for driving. They present a ton of benefits (like incredibly low fuel costs and a performance that’s remarkably sensitive to the environment), and their charging requirements are simple enough - you can plug them into an outlet in your garage with the special cord provided by Toyota. However, how many charging stations did you see the last time you took a drive around town? Therein lies the problem – you can charge your new N Charlotte Toyota RAV4 EV in just a few hours, and get up to 113 miles out of one charge. However, where do you charge your new Toyota near Charlotte after that?
Toyota is deftly working on the answer to that question, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with at our N Charlotte Toyota dealership. As of right now, they’re working on a charging system that would allow these new Toyota near Charlotte to charge without a “point of contact” – in other words, without a cord. The new Toyota RAV4 EV would be able to reload its charge through magnetic resonators that would be implanted into standard parking spots around town. If you were to park your electric N Charlotte Toyota in one of these spots, power would automatically start to flow into your vehicle through a magnetic field!
Toyota has just started testing this incredible new technology in Japan, so our dealership will be sure to keep you updated both on its development and when we’re anticipating the arrival of the new Toyota RAV4 EV in Charlotte! In the meantime, you can check out our amazing selection of fuel-efficient new Toyota options, like the Toyota Prius or the 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid. We’ve got plenty of ways for you to save money at the gas pump and go green while you wait for the Toyota RAV4 EV and other electric options to get here!
