1,000 food bag giveaway at Grab-n-Go Family Picnic

Keith Chiropractic and StarMed Healthcare are teaming up to give away 1,000 bags of food to families in need at their “Grab-N-Go Family Picnic” on Monday at 4001 Tuckaseegee Road.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers will distribute one bag of food to each vehicle that drives up on a first-come-first-served basis.

Each bag will contain enough food to feed a family of four with items including hamburgers, hamburger buns, boxed mac and cheese, canned vegetables and chips.

Every year, the organizations host a Memorial Day “festival style” event, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event has been switched to a drive-thru distribution to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
