Charlotte Fire Department getting candy to the kids

On Saturday from 1-3 p.m., the Charlotte Fire Department will have a community candy drop at ten fire stations for kids. Wearing a costume is highly encouraged.

Participants are required to stay in their cars.

This is a drive-through event only, and no pedestrian foot traffic is allowed.  The fire department is asking drivers to follow all directional signs, traffic laws, drive slowly and to please wear a mask.

Once you arrive, you’ll open your car window, and masked fire department staff wearing rubber gloves will distribute one free pre-filled bag of candy to each child.

Children must be present to receive a bag of candy.

Fire station tours, truck tours and bathrooms will not be accessible to the public.

The event will be offered at the Charlotte Fire Stations listed below.  The fire department will remain in-service for public safety, so please do not block the fire trucks.
