SC family hangs ‘rainbow of hope’ on window for staff, patients at neighboring hospital

Pray. Wait. Trust.

That is the message that Robyn Hunt and her family wanted to share with the staff and patients at the Medical University of South Carolina when they created and hung a rainbow craft in their bay window.

The family lives next door to the hospital and where foot traffic has continued to increase due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

“We just wanted to spread a little happiness in this time of uncertainty by showing them that God is always with us,” said Hunt.

Hunt expressed how the family activity with her husband, Joshua, and son, Arkin, didn’t require too much time to make and the result was priceless.

“Our inspiration in the midst of all this chaos was that our family wanted to bring joy and light to others during this time,” said Hunt. “We decided we wanted to do something to put a smile on someone’s face.”

The care team members of MUSC Health - Lancaster Medical Center are humbled, honored and very appreciative of these acts...
