Rock Hill’s Second Saturday Vendor Pop-Up to support teachers and students

The Heart2Heart Foundation is partnering with retail vendors to collect school supplies for Rock Hill teachers and students. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members can drop off school supply donations at the Second Saturday Vendor Pop-Up event at the Warehouses on White.
“The school supplies we collect here will help teachers make sure students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom,” said Sheila Caldwell, president and founder of The Heart2Heart Foundation.
Attendees who donate will receive $2 off of any purchase of $10 or more at The Mercantile and donors over the age of 21 will be entered into a drawing to win two VIP tickets to The Heart2Heart Foundation’s 2020 Queen of Hearts Gala being held Saturday, Feb. 1, in Rock Hill. Winners do not have to be present to win.
In partnership with WSOC-TV’s "9 School Tools" campaign, The Heart2Heart Foundation is collecting school supplies for students in grades K-12. These items play a big role in preparing students to be successful in the upcoming school year. The donations from "9 School Tools" stay in the county where they're donated, so any items donated at the Second Saturday Vendor Pop-Up event will benefit students in the Rock Hill School District.
“Besides giving them the tools they need to do the work, I believe knowing that people cared enough to donate can give them a healthy feeling of self-worth,” said Caldwell.
