Get revved up for the holidays at Speedway Christmas

Charlotte Motor Speedway will shine brightly for the holidays during its annual Christmas light show featuring more than 4 million lights spanning a 3.75-mile course that illuminates the iconic race track.

Speedway Christmas also features an infield Christmas village that includes s’mores making, photos with Santa, a Bethlehem Village with live actors and animals, a carousel and more. There's also a 50-foot Ferris wheel to take a spin on, and new this year, a 100-foot slide.

In addition, you can watch Christmas-themed movies on the giant Speedway TV. (See movie schedule below.)

The drive-through portion of Speedway Christmas runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 22 through Jan. 5, 2020. On Thursday through Sunday nights, the Christmas Village is open in the speedway infield. Speedway Christmas will be closed Dec. 25

Tickets cost $20 per car Monday through Wednesday, $25 per car Thursday and Sunday and $30 per car Friday and Saturday.

Dec. 26-29: “A Christmas Story”

Movies are shown Thursday through Sunday at 6:30 p.m., with a second showing immediately after. You’ll need to tune in to 105.1 FM to listen.
