High-octane happenings to get you revved up for the ROVAL 400

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The second running of the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sept. 29 will bring race fans lots of high-octane happenings, both on and off the track.

Thursday, Sept. 26

Hot Rods at the Race Shop at Stewart Haas Racing

Check out a free classic car show and enjoy free food and drinks from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Stewart Haas Racing in Concord.

Friday, Sept. 27

Fan Fest at Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntersville

Fans can meet JGR drivers Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr. and Erik Jones from 8 a.m. to noon. Click here for more details.

Bojangles’ Qualifying at Charlotte Motor Speedway

See how the starting order for the Bank of America ROVAL 400 is set when the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup drivers qualify. Plus, the Xfinity Series and Cup drivers will hold practice sessions that afternoon. Kids 13 and younger get in free. Click here for more details.

Saturday, Sept. 28

Richard Childress Racing Event at NASCAR Hall of Fame

Hear firsthand from members of the 1998 RCR team as they share stories from Dale Earnhardt's memorable Daytona 500 victory. In addition, fans can have their photo taken with the No. 3 Daytona winning cars for free. Click here for more details.

Drive for the Cure 250 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Watch the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship contenders battle it out and see two Cup Series practices. Remember to wear pink to help raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Click here for more details.

Rock the ROVAL Party at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Following the Xfinity race, see the “greatest show on surf” when Yacht Rock Revue performs on the speedway’s frontstretch turf. In addition, you can catch country music star Tim Dugger and drivers Ryan Blaney and Corey Lajoie at the speedway’s Trackside Live stage.

Ticket holders to either the Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina or Bank of America ROVAL 400 will have free access to both concerts.

Sunday, Sept. 29

Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Race fans won’t want to miss the first road course race in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. Before the action on the track, country music star Chris Lane will perform on the speedway’s frontstretch and motorsports legend Mario Andretti will serve as the honorary pace car driver.
