    Get a jump on your plans for Easter. From Easter egg hunts to helicopter egg drops, there are plenty of places where you can have a hoppin' good time.

    April 15-21

    Carowinds Easter Eggstravaganza – Enjoy family-friendly activities with Snoopy the Easter Beagle and Eggward the Easter Bunny. Thousands of colorful Easter eggs will be hidden throughout Camp Snoopy, plus there will be crafts and live entertainment. Carowinds admission starts at $45. website

    April 18

    Ray’s Splash Planet Underwater Egg Hunt – Have gallons of fun at this egg hunt for children ages 0-10. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. $5. website

    April 19-20

    Hodges Farm Spring Fling – See the Easter Bunny and farm animals, take a hayride and enjoy family-friendly games. Egg hunts will be organized by age groups. $5. website

    North Carolina Transportation Museum Easter Bunny Express – Take a train ride with the Easter Bunny! Other activities include face painting, crafts, inflatables and more. Spencer, N.C. Tickets are $13 for adults and $9 for children ages 3-12. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free. website   

    April 20

    Belmont Easter Egg Hunt – See the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs and there will be prizes for each age group. Stowe Park at noon; Linford Park at 2 p.m. Belmont, N.C. website

    Concord Bunny Run 5K and Festival – Run the Fun Run or 5K and stick around for the free festival with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, inflatables and more. Downtown Concord. 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. website

    Historic Latta Plantation Easter Egg Hunt – Hunts will be organized by age groups, and eggs will be filled with surprises. Other activities include story time, games, photo opportunities with Baxter the Bunny and more. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $8; each child’s egg hunt ticket includes admission for one adult. website

    Lazy 5 Ranch Easter Eggstravaganza – Activities include a helicopter egg drop, scavenger hunt, live bunnies, coloring contest and more. Egg drops will be organized by age. Mooresville, N.C. Admission is $11 adults, $8 children ages 2-11. website 

    NASCAR Hall of Fame Easter Egg 400 – Festivities include a photo with the Easter Bunny, games, crafts and of course, an egg hunt. Each child will get to take home a carton of eggs filled with candy and prizes. 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. $12; children age two and under are admitted free. website

    April 21

    Adult Easter Egg Hunt – Big kids can celebrate Easter at community egg hunts at Pilot Brewing, Red Clay Ciderworks, Thirsty Nomad Brewing, Blue Blaze Brewing and NoDa Brewing Company. Prizes will be awarded. website
