BELMONT, N.C. — Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s annual Holidays at the Garden has returned bigger and better this season with the addition of hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights through new garden spaces and an all-new, musically-orchestrated topiary display.

Plenty of Garden favorites are back as well, including the 15-foot, towering orchid tree; live music (daily 6 to 8 p.m.); crackling fires to warm cold hands or roast marshmallows; the Children’s Discovery Trail of activities and more.

Food service is available every night in addition to beverages including coffee, hot chocolate, cider, beer, wine and other spirits.

Holidays at the Garden is open nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. through Jan. 6. The Garden will be closed Christmas Day.

To save on admission, purchase tickets online in advance (prices increase at the door). Admission purchased online in advance for Monday through Thursday costs $12.95 for adults, $11.95 for seniors age 60 and up, $7.95 for children ages 2-12. Admission purchased online in advance for Friday through Sunday costs $14.95 for adults, $13.95 for seniors age 60 and up and $8.95 for children ages 2-12. Children under the age of 2 are admitted free.
