South End beer festival will be hoppin'

The sixth annual South End Hops Festival is set to take place Saturday at 308 West Carson Blvd.

This year's festival will feature craft beers from over 25 breweries, plus wines, ciders and cocktails. In addition, there will be live music, cooking demos and food trucks.

The event is open to adults ages 21 and older. Dog owners are invited to bring along their four-legged friends.

Proceeds from the event will benefit RescuedMe dog rescue.

General admission tickets cost $35 in advance and include a souvenir tasting glass and four hours of unlimited beer tastings from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets for early admission cost $40 and allow you to enter at 1 p.m., one hour earlier than general admission ticket holders.

Designated driver tickets cost $10 and include admission and a souvenir water bottle.
