• Warm weekend ahead as severe storm threat stays low

    By: Keith Monday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Stormy conditions for Friday are expected to be much quieter than the last few days.

That trend will continue through Father’s Day weekend.

Any possible storms could bring the threat of heavy rain and lightning, although the risk of severe weather will remain low.

Abundant sunshine and warm temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s are in store for Saturday with highs possibly reaching 90 degrees on Sunday.
