    Charlotte Symphony: Magic of Christmas

    What: The Charlotte Symphony’s annual holiday concert, conducted by Albert-George Schram. Tickets range from $27.50 to $72.50.

    Christmas at the Billy Graham Library

    What: A live nativity scene, horse-drawn carriage rides, Christmas music and more are featured at this annual event celebrating Christmas. Admission is free; parking is $10 per vehicle after 3 p.m.

    When: Dec. 1 - 22; 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday

    Holidays at the Garden

    What: An annual holiday display of Christmas trees, lighting and more, along with carriage rides on Thursdays through Saturdays and visits with Santa. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and $6 for children ages 4-12.

    When: Nov. 23 - Dec. 31; noon-9 p.m.

    McAdenville lights

    What: McAdenville, known as Christmas Town, USA, lights up for the holiday season. The light display is free.

    When: Nov. 30 - Dec. 26; 5:30-9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

    SouthPark annual tree lighting celebration

    What: Family entertainment, carriage rides and more followed by the annual lighting of the tree. Afterward, there will be a screening of “Arthur Christmas.” The event is free.  

    When: Begins at 5 p.m. on Nov. 16; tree lighting is at 7 p.m.

    Speedway Christmas

    What: More than 3 million holiday lights make up more than 800 displays at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Tickets are $15 per car Monday through Wednesday, and $20 per car Thursday through Sunday, when the Speedway Christmas Village is open.

    When: Nov. 19 - Dec. 30; Closed Christmas Day

    The Singing Christmas Tree

    What: A Charlotte tradition of more than 50 years features the Carolina Voices’ MainStage choir performing atop a 32-foot tree. Tickets range from $20 to $33.
