Billy Graham one of the 10 most admired men in U.S. for 59th time

PRINCETON, N.J. — Billy Graham was again named among the 10 men most admired men in America, according to the Gallup polling organization.

The Charlotte-born evangelist has made the Gallup Poll's Most Admired Men list 59 times -- his first appearance coming way back in 1955.

For the seventh straight year President Barack Obama was the most admired man according to the polling, while former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was the most admired woman for the 14th year in a row.

Clinton, who was first lady for most of the 1990s, has topped the Most Admired list 20 times -- more than any other woman or man in Gallup's history of asking the question.

GOP presidential frontrunner and business tycoon Donald Trump tied with Pope Francis for runner-up on the Most Admired Men list for 2015.

Graham extended his record for top 10 finishes, as did Queen Elizabeth II of England, who has made the list of Most Admired Women 47 times.

Graham has never finished first in the Most Admired list, but he was runner-up from 1969 through 1974 and again in 1997 and 1999.
