Dry conditions continue as heat and humidity return

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Temperatures around The Queen City will warm up a little more Tuesday as highs are set to climb back in to the lower 80s, which is fairly close to average for this time of the year.

The temps will sit closer to 90 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, and we will begin to feel the humidity creep in as well. This will lead to a small chance for a storm on Thursday afternoon – the best chance coming in the mountains.

A cold front will move in Thursday night and will cool us back in to the 80s for Friday and the weekend.

The dry weather will stick around through Memorial Day.
