CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several fan events for the Belk Bowl are planned ahead of the game, which is set for Dec. 27 at Bank of America stadium.
The University of Cincinnati and Duke will face off at this year’s game.
The events will get under way on Dec. 26 with a Battle of the Bands on the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza. From 4-5 p.m., each school's marching band will perform and compete for audience applause.
That evening, Belk Bowl Fan Central will be held from 7-11 p.m. at the EpiCentre. Cheerleaders, marching bands and mascots will be there to help get fans ready for the game.
The Belk Bowl FanFest kicks off at 1 p.m. on Dec. 27 outside of Bank of America stadium, with live music, food and games. Lady Antebellum is headlining this year’s event, which runs until 5:30 p.m.
