Wet weekend: A much better chance for rain will head toward the Charlotte region for part of the weekend. Most of the metro will see the rain pick up into Saturday night and then move out early Sunday morning. Expect about 0.5 inches of rainfall. There will be plenty of dry time for your weekend plans though, and temps will warm into the 50s, with another batch of cold air arriving next week.
