Friday Forecast: Temps, pollen count continue to climb

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Conditions are calm Friday as we head into the weekend. Dry, sunny and warm weather will hang on for the next several days.

Temperatures will stay in the 70s Friday, but many towns in the viewing area will warm to near or above 80 degrees this weekend.

Temps will stay in the 60s for this evening at the ballpark for the Charlotte Knights home opener.

The mountains may see a sprinkle tonight, but elsewhere will remain dry.

The next weather maker is slated to arrive Monday and will bring rain. It may not be big severe weather at this point, but some heavier downpours are likely.

The rain will stretch through Tuesday as well.
