CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Channel 9 Game of the Week for Friday will determine the NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools state championship.
Providence Day will travel to Charlotte Christian for the shot at the title.
The Chargers (8-4) will try to avenge a loss to the Knights (8-3) just two weeks ago.
Providence Day beat Charlotte Country Day last week 24-14 to advance to the title game.
Charlotte Christian beat Charlotte Latin last week 48-20 to advance.
The Chargers are looking for their second state championship in a row.
