CHARLOTTE - The heat and humidity continues to build over  in Charlotte.

Temperatures Saturday reached the upper 80s in some spots. They will be in the low 90s Sunday afternoon, feeling like 95 degrees when factoring in the humidity.

Thunderstorm chances will be building over Tennessee and will try to reach the Charlotte area Monday.

After that rain chance, a heat wave will build over Charlotte with temperatures in the mid-90s the rest of the week.
