Independence ramp to John Belk closed

The ramp from inbound Independence Blvd. onto John Belk Freeway/I-277 South will be closed from 11 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd through 6 a.m. on Monday, November 5th.  Crews will be replacing the bridge deck.

• The easiest alternate route is to take Brookshire Freeway/I-277 North to I-77 South to John Belk Freeway/Exit 9.  This alternate route will experience additional delays on Saturday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. due to a separate construction project on the Brookshire Freeway.
• The shortest alternate route is to take Brookshire Freeway/I-277 North to Davidson St./Exit 3 (turn left) to I-277 South (left at the next light onto the entrance ramp) onto the John Belk Freeway.
• Another option is to use Wendover Rd. (Exit 245 off of Independence) to Randolph Rd. (right) to the John Belk Freeway entrance ramp.
