$2.8M Myers Park estate trades again, marking Mecklenburg's top sale in March

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Myers Park home that traded hands just seven months ago has once again been sold, topping the charts as the priciest home sale last month in Mecklenburg County.

The high-end home, nestled between Queens Road and Queen Road West, might ring familiar to some who closely track Charlotte’s luxury real estate market. It last sold in September — for the same price of $2.775 million. At that time, the local office of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, which handled the Myers Park sale on behalf of the buyer last fall, said it was the priciest residential transaction in that neighborhood’s resale market over the past two years.

The home was most recently listed for sale in mid-January, carrying a price tag of $2.875 million — about 4.3% more than its purchase price.

Of Mecklenburg County’s 10 most expensive residential sales in March, a total of three originated in Charlotte’s affluent Myers Park neighborhood. The other neighborhoods that logged the priciest home sales were Foxcroft, Carmel Country Club, Montibello, Eastover and Tuckaway Park.

The full roundup of home sales, ranging in price from $1.779 million to $2.775 million, can be viewed in this slideshow.
