CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was arrested Saturday after officers were notified of a license plate reader hit on a stolen vehicle on Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte.
After the driver refused to pull over, officers pursued him to The Plaza.
Police said the driver crashed into a tree at Holt Street and Matheson Avenue and a passenger jumped out of the car and ran away.

Police said the car was stolen during an armed robbery on Wednesday.
