1 killed, 3 hurt after car crashes into tractor-trailer, Rock Hill police say

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Officers in Rock Hill had to close a busy road Friday morning while they investigated a fatal crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer.

Police were called around 7:30 a.m. to the 2000 block of Ogden Road after they said a passenger car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer.

One person in the car was killed but police have not released that victim’s name.

Three other people were hurt, and one had to be flown to the hospital. Authorities have not released details about those injuries.

Officials have not yet said what may have caused the car to collide with the tractor-trailer.

The road was closed and police have not said when they expect it to reopen.
