CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — One person died in a single-vehicle accident about 3:20 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 77 near mile marker 66 in Chester County, troopers said.
The 2000 Dodge Dakota crashed when the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, lost control of the pickup truck and hit a tree. The driver died at the scene.
No other vehicles or people were involved.
The name of the victim has not been released.
