• 1 shot at busy Charlotte intersection

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - One person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center Friday night after a shooting on Eastway Drive near The Plaza, according to officials.

    Witnesses told police the shooter pulled up behind the victim’s car and there was an argument.

    That was when the shooter opened fire and sped off in a Ford Crown Victoria.

    The victim got out the car and collapsed at a nearby gas station.

    Police are looking for the shooter

    The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
