RICHMOND COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Richmond County that killed an 18-year-old Hamlet girl and a truck driver.
Officials said they collided head-on at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday off Highway Interstate 77 north of Dobbins Heights.
Troopers aren't ruling out inclement weather at this point but said no ice was on the road at the time.
