2 men sentenced for 3 Charlotte robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men who pleaded guilty in connection with a robbery ring were in court Wednesday.

 Zachary Graves was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Walter Pries was sentenced to three years and two months in prison.

They pleaded guilty last year to robbing two Kangaroo gas stations and a pharmacy in Charlotte.

Police said Graves and Pries and two of their other friends used military-style tactics to commit the crimes.
