• 2 school buses collide in east Charlotte


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Two Charlotte-Mecklenburg school buses ran into each other in east Charlotte while taking children home from school on Thursday.

    The incident happened on Somerdale Lane near Shamrock Drive.

    Some students were put into ambulances, but Medic said there were no major injuries.

    There’s no word yet what may have caused the accident.
