CHARLOTTE — A man pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court for a card-skimming scheme in which where authorities said he and his partner in crime pocketed $73,000.
Dumitru Coste and Vartolomeu Florin, both of Romania, installed a skimmer and a tiny camera on the ATM at the State Employees Credit Union in Mint Hill, authorities said.
Coste pleaded guilty Thursday and Florn pleaded guilty in July 2019.
They got 147 card numbers between Feb. 11 and Feb. 13.
