GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Parents learned Monday night that four students, who range in ages, at four different Gaston County schools have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The schools include York Chester Middle School, Carr and Pleasant Ridge elementary schools and South Point High School.

At York Chester, an employee tested positive for the virus two weeks ago before school started. There is no known connection between the two cases.
Two employees tested positive at Pleasant Ridge last week.
