“It can change so quick,” recalled Brittany Goforth, Palmer’s mother. “Everything’s fine on Saturday and then nothing is OK on Sunday.”

The Goforth family had no idea what was just around the corner.

In the video at the top of this webpage, Palmer and his family share their journey with reporter Elsa Gillis.

The Goforth family is encouraging people to donate to Hemby’s virtual toy drive.
