911 call released in Kannapolis shooting

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Police released the 911 call a man made after he said he shot someone in Kannapolis.

Police arrested Kelvin Clifton Jr. who they said shot Ronald Bush II outside a home on Utah Street early Wednesday morning.
 
"I just shot someone," Clifton told a 911 dispatcher.

"OK. Who did you shoot?" the dispatcher said.

"A person that did something wrong," Clifton said.
 
Clifton was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm.
 
Bush was taken to the hospital where he's still being treated.
