3 taken to hospital after crash between 2 buses near uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An accident involving two buses had an intersection just outside uptown closed Friday morning.

Police said a CATS bus and a school bus collided at 4th Street and Grandin Road just after 6 a.m.

Police told Channel 9 there were no children on the school bus, but there were 20 people on the CATS bus.

The school bus driver and two people from the CATS bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
