Accident involving school bus on I-485 injures 6

CHARLOTTE — Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon. The call was dispatched around 3 p.m.

The accident was on the Interstate 485 outer loop at Oakdale Road.

Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department said a pickup truck blew a tire and collided with the school bus. There were six patients with non-life-threatening injuries.
