CONCORD, N.C. — A fast-growing airline that launched at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport last spring is canceling one of its two local nonstop routes to Connecticut.
Houston-based Avelo Airlines will stop flying between Concord and Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks at the end of March, company spokesperson Courtney Goff confirmed to CBJ. That route began flying at the Concord airport in November. It flew twice a week.
“Unfortunately, this route did not meet our expectations,” Goff said.
