• Police: amber alert issued for missing 2-year-old boy


    DURHAM, N.C. - Police have issued an amber alert for a 2-year-old Durham boy who disappeared while walking with his mother.

    Kameron Hembry's mother said she was walking to their car and told the boy to follow, but when she turned around today he was gone.

    She said they had been visiting someone at an apartment complex. Police have been using search dogs all day, but haven't found anything.

    Police said now that it is night time they are worried about the cold and the dark.
