Arrest made after man found stabbed to death at Cheraw apartments

CHERAW, S.C. — Police have charged a man with murder after they said he stabbed another man to death Wednesday morning in Cheraw.

Investigators told Channel 9 reporter Greg Suskin that Damien Johnson, 30, was stabbed at the Greystone Apartments around 5:30 a.m. during an argument.

Responding officers found him lying next to a car in the parking lot, suffering from several stab wounds.

Brandon Sellers, 22, has been charged with murder.

Police have not elaborated on the argument that led to the crime.
