CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This local artisan chocolatier has opened up shop at The Design Center of the Carolinas.

Twenty Degrees Chocolates — a second venture for Casey Hickey and husband Mark Meissner— is tucked into a 500-square-foot space at 1930 Camden Road.
The couple is also behind Petit Phillipe, a wine and chocolate tasting room, in Myers Park.
“We love what we do, and we’re excited to share it,” Hickey says.
The boutique chocolate shop sells hand-crafted chocolates, caramels, French-style pâtes de fruit — a soft candy made with gelled fruit before being dusted with sugar—and other artisan treats.
