BBB provides tips on how to shop on Small Business Saturday

CHARLOTTE — After the rush of Black Friday ends, Small Business Saturday will quickly begin. The Better Business Bureau has provided tips on the best ways to shop small.

Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 by American Express. The first way you can shop small is by getting involved. Communities will be holding events and you can take part by shopping at local businesses. Another way to support the cause is to simply sign up for email alerts, to ensure you get deals throughout the year, the BBB said.

Before you head out to shop, research the local stores around you then bring your friends and family along so they too can support local businesses. Lastly, the BBB invites you to also eat small while out shopping this Saturday.
