Belk amps up offerings with beauty line

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Belk Inc. has launched its first in-house beauty line.

Called Belk Beauty, those products are available online and in stores. The Charlotte-based retailer says that brand is inspired by its Southern roots with trendy, high-quality lip, eye and face palettes available.

“Belk Beauty is here to help every southern and sophisticated customer cultivate her perfect look,” says Christine Woodward, vice president and divisional merchandise manager of beauty and fragrances at Belk.

Its product offerings include a collection of city-inspired eye-and-cheek palettes that draw from the styles of Charlotte; Atlanta; Charleston, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; Dallas; and Nashville, Tennessee. An eight-share option doubles up on core eye shadows.
