HICKORY, N.C. — A cleanup was underway Tuesday in Catawba County where a trailer separated itself from a truck before overturning south of Hickory.
The trailer skidded the length of a football field before flipping on Highway 321 near the River Road exit.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol said the truck was hauling truck parts. The driver was not hurt in the accident and only one of the southbound lanes has to be closed because of the wreck.
