Break-ins, peeper plague south Charlotte neighborhood

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are warning residents about a rash of break-ins and a serial peeper targeting homes in Madison Park in south Charlotte.
 
Most of the cases are on Murrayhill Road between Currituck and Lamont drives where on Monday, there were five break-ins.
 
A man has also been reported roaming the neighborhood and peeking into people's homes.

The most recent peeping incident happened Sunday night when the man walked into someone's sunroom and watched the homeowner.
 
Concerned residents met with police Sunday night.
 
Police said a K-9 tracked the peeper's scent but lost it on Sandridge Road.
