Cannon Ballers’ stadium revitalization aims to draw more people to Kannapolis

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — For years, downtown Kannapolis has evolved, changing the city’s landscape and environment while keeping its history.

Now another change is on the way as the next phase in revitalization will continue to draw people to the area.

With the fence and tarps up, an area near Atrium Health Ballpark really doesn’t look like much but soon, the empty lot is going to be transformed into one of the most unique spaces in downtown Kannapolis.
