CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car crashed into a power pole and caught fire on E. 4th Street near Interstate 277.
The road is shut down near Kings Drive and will remain closed through rush hour.
One person was treated for potentially-life-threatening injuries, MEDIC said.
Firefighters sprayed foam on the car to put the fire out, but it was still burning.
