• Car slams into CATS bus in north Charlotte


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a car slammed into a Charlotte Area Transit System bus Thursday morning.

    The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on North Graham Street near West Craighead Road.

    Channel 9 was at the scene and could see the extensive damage to the car.

    Officials said there were no passengers on the bus and minor injuries were reported.

    Police have not said whether the driver will face any charges.
