Car slams into southwest Charlotte home overnight

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating an accident that sent a car crashing into a home in southwest Charlotte early Monday morning.

Officers said the car slammed into the house around 1:30 a.m. on Franklin Springs Circle off Nations Ford Road.

The homeowners were asleep at the time and were not hurt. Police have not said what caused the driver to crash but no one is facing charges at this time.
