Charlotte CEO’s sprawling Eastover estate hits market at $3.6 million

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CEO of a locally based footwear retailer has put his sprawling estate in Charlotte’s Eastover neighborhood on the market, according to the luxury real estate brokerage that snagged the $3.6 million listing.

Located on Colville Road, the private residence of Mark Lardie, president and CEO of Rack Room Shoes, and retired footwear industry executive Meredith Lardie is being marketed exclusively by Jessica Grier of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Charlotte office.

The 7,748-square-foot French Renaissance-style home was designed by Greg Perry and constructed by a local custom builder in 2016.

It boasts a stately foyer and floor plan that showcases the Lardies’ collection of art and décor, according to a news release from the firm.

The property features five bedrooms, five full- and two half-bathrooms, multiple fireplaces, a chef’s kitchen with marble countertops and custom cabinetry, a home theater and an expansive outdoor living area with a heated saltwater pool and spa.
