Charlotte suburb lands on Money magazine’s ranking of best places to live

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord is once again one of the nation’s top places to live, according to Money magazine.

The publication ranked the Charlotte suburb at No. 24 on its new list of the 50 best places to live in America. Concord landed at No. 79 last year and at No. 38 in 2017. It didn’t make the ranking in 2018, but Rock Hill did, with the South Carolina city coming in at No. 49 that year.

Concord is located about 25 miles northeast of Charlotte. The magazine, in Concord’s profile, noted that in addition to it being home to Charlotte Motor Speedway, the city also features a historic downtown and has seen employment grow 33% since 2010.
